Alan also talks about a current court case in Dublin where a separated father is compelled to attend a court case regarding a son who does not live with him.

Show #1: 16-02-2006

This evening marks the launch of a series of radio programmes entitled MENSTUFF. This program is also streamed online at http://www.dundalkfm.com/

MENSTUFF is magazine programme promoting positive and challenging images and portrayals of men and issues that interest and affect them and those they care for.

I’m fortunate to have as a core crew member Luke Martin, Men’s Health and Welfare Officer of Parental Equality, who will come in on each show to discuss different issues for men.

Also I have Chef Darren McCooey who will share a rage of tips and ideas around nutrition, cooking and food suggestions for dads and their kids.

Having published the very successful handbook, Things for Dads to do with Kids, with a first print run of 8,000 copies and now a collector’s item, I will be joined by Sam Carroll, the author of the book, who will take us through different activities on each program and relate some of the feedback he has had to the book.

As the program develops we hope to have lots of others topics and anchor team members.

If you have ideas, suggestions, topics, etc. Please listen to the show and email me your feedback
